    Materials:

    oval Hemalyke beads in two sizes
    22-gauge silver wire
    silver pendant
    round nose pliers
    flat nose pliers
    wire cutters

    1. Select the beads to be used, and then lay out the design including spaces for wire.

    2. Cut pieces of wire to 2-1/2 inches long.

    3. Using round nose pliers, bend at one inch from the end (figure A). Reposition the pliers, and then bend the wire over the pliers and wrap around the long piece of wire. Use flat nose pliers to make the coil snug and tight (figure B).

    4. Install a bead, and then begin the next wrap—stopping before wrapping the coil.

    5. Attach to the next wire wrapped bead, and then complete the coil (figure C).

    6. When the necklace is complete, add a dangle of larger wire-wrapped beads, and then a silver pendant at the bottom.

    7. Show the addition of a dangle to finish the necklace.
