    Materials:

16 gauge 1' fine silver wire
22 gauge 3' fine silver wire
    8 12-14mm fancy stones
    lobster claw clasp
    tripod stand with fire block
    blazer butane torch
    flush cutters
    chain nose pliers
    assortment of wood dowels
    locking tweezers
    bowl of water for quenching

    1. Select the beads to be used, and then lay out the design including spaces for wire.

    2. Cut the pieces of wire to 2-1/2 inches long.

    3. Using round nose pliers, bend at one inch from the end (figure A). Reposition the pliers, and then bend the wire over the pliers and wrap around the long piece of wire. Use flat nose pliers to make the coil snug and tight (figure B).

    4. Fuse the rings together using a torch (figure C).

Safety Note: Always wear gloves and safety glasses when using a torch.

    5. Cut the three foot piece of 22-gauge wire into four feet sections.

    6. Use the torch to ball the ends of the wire.

    7. Wrap one wire around the fused ring to secure (figure D). String the semi-precious beads onto the wire, and then stretch the wire across the ring and wrap into place to secure (figure E).
