Halloween/Fall Bamboo Bracelet- Cut cording from bamboo place mat and remove approximately 8-10 tiles.
- Place cut felt to Velcroed Ink Applicator Tool.
- Apply Alcohol Inks to felt. Squeeze tip into felt; 3-4 colors at the most.
- Dab onto lighter side of bamboo tiles (figure A).
- Allow to dry, or speed dry with a heat tool (also known as embossing tools and are available at craft stores).
- Option: to light tile color, drop or add Blending Solution to felt and redab.
- Stamp images onto tiles with Archival Ink (figure B); heat set with heat tool.
- Outline edges of tiles with Posh Accent Pens. Allow to dry.
- Option: Seal tiles with spray sealant.
- To string the tiles, lay them down in the order you would like them to be.
- String elastic through one side of tile; add 3-4 beads depending on sizes and colors; in the samples, 1-#6/0, 3-#11-0, 1-#6-0 are strung; then criss-cross through second set of holes in tile (figure C).
- Add 1-#11-0 bead to each side of the elastic, which will create a decorative spacer before you go through the next tile.
- Criss-cross elastic through second tile and then repeat from Step 11 until you reach the last tile (figure D).
- You will then need to work one side of the elastic back through the tile so both elastics will be on the same side.
- Tighten up cording so that the tiles are adjacent, but not overlapping one another (figure E).
- Tie double knot or surgeon's knot.
- You now have a decorative cuff bracelet that can be worn with any outfit. With one place mat, you can make enough for every season (figure F).
