    1. String the seven 6mm beads onto the wire. Take the wire through the end four beads forming a tight circle (figure A). Leave a 6-8" tail at one end.

    2. Put the pearl on the long end of the wire and fold the wire down to where the tail is. The pearl should be at the center of the flower now.

    3. Taking the long end of wire, wrap it in the direction away from the short end of the wire. Wrap it over the wire between every two beads turning over the flower as you go. Because there are an odd number of beads, you won't wrap the same place twice. Keep wrapping until a six-sided star of wire appears on both sides of the flower (figure B). You should end at the point where the short tail is. Twist the wires two times and put them together.

    4. The top of the flower should be put in front of the opening of the bobby pin. Wrap the wires around the short portion of the bobby pin twice. Add a leaf to the base of the wire; twist the wires around two times. Go through the bobby pin and add the second leaf, twisting twice.

    5. Then twist the wire around the short portion of the bobby pin about three to four times towards the base of the bobby pin. Cut the wire (figure C). You may need to use chain nose pliers to put the ends of the wire flat.
