    Materials --

    Suede
    Seed beads
    Silk ribbon
    24-gauge wire
    3" of chain extension
    Lobster clasp
    Wire cutters
    Scissors

    1. Choose large center stone and colors of suede, seed beads and silk ribbon.

    2. Cut suede and silk ribbon 16" in length.

    3. String seed beads to match 16" length of suede and silk (figure A)

    4. Attach all three ends together with a crimp at each end.

    5. Attach jump ring with 3" of chain extension to one end and lobster clasp to the other end.

    6. Feed large stone on loop through all three strands to complete the necklace.

    7. Attach the stone to a sterling hook (figure B). Once you put the stone onto your choker, squeeze the hook tight and it will not come off.

    8. For a different look, you can take the same seed beads you use in your necklace and make a loop and attach it to your pendant (figure C). You need to make sure the loop will be big enough to slip over your clasp.

      Note: The pendant had a decorative head pin run through the middle with the loop on the top.

    9. Another idea is to place beads on a piece of organza (figure D) and then add your pendant.
