    Figure D
    1. Sand one sheet of white plastic with 320-grit sandpaper.

    2. Cut six pieces of plastic approximately 2"x2".

    3. Trace or draw images on the plastic with the Permawriter pen (figure A).

    4. Color in images with very thinned-down acrylic paint. The color of the paint will intensify as the plastic shrinks.

    5. Decorate the other side of each tile with a stamped image.

    6. Punch two holes on both sides of each tile (figure B) for the jump rings. This should be done before shrinking the plastic, making sure the holes are placed in the same place on each tile.

    7. Bake the tiles at 300 degrees, using an oven, toaster oven or heat gun, until completely flat. The tiles will curl and crinkle during the baking process but will eventually flatten.

    8. Embellish with interference acrylics and crystals (figure C).

    9. Seal all tiles with an acrylic topcoat, fingernail polish or acrylic spray varnish.

    10. Line the tile edges with a permanent gold marker.

    11. Arrange the tiles on either side of the watch face, in the pattern of your choice.

    12. Attach the tiles to each other with jump rings, then attach the tile sides to the watch loops with additional jump rings (figure D).

    13. Attach the toggle closure.

    14. Finish with a decorative charm.
