Emerald City Slider

Materials:

2mm sterling silver balls
3mm emerald green Swarovski round crystals
4mm emerald green satin Swarovski round crystals
Size 8? black hexagon seed beads
2mm sterling silver crimp beads
Beading wire
Wire cutters
Crimping pliers

1. Unwind 2-3 feet of wire from the spool, but do not cut the wire. String one 4mm crystal, one 2mm sterling ball, one seed bead, one sterling ball, one 3mm crystal, one sterling ball, one seed bead, and one sterling ball. Repeat 30 times.

2. String one 4mm crystal, one crimp tube, and one side of the clasp. Pass back through the crimp tube and crimp.

3. Cut the lariat from the spool of wire leaving 2" of excess wire. String one crimp tube and the other side of the clasp. Pass pack through the crimp tube and crimp.

Wonder Years Lariat

Materials:

Size 8 Japanese seed beads
Size 5 triangle seed beads
9 x 7mm glass teardrop beads
Handmade bead and leaves by Tom Simpson
Beading wire
2mm sterling silver crimp tubes

1. Pull at least 3 feet of wire from the spool, but do not cut it. String 3 size 8 seed beads, one teardrop, 3 size 8 seed beads, and one size 5 seed bead. Repeat 33 times.

2. String 3 size 8 seed beads, one size 5 seed bead, the handmade bead, and one size 5 seed bead. String 3 size 8s, one teardrop, 3 size 8s, and one size 5. Repeat twice more. String 3 size 8s and pass again through the first size 5 strung in this step, the handmade bead, and the adjacent size 5 seed bead.

3. String 3 size 8 seed beads, one size 5, 3 size 8s and one teardrop. Repeat 7 times. Adjusting the wire so that there are 4" at the end, string 3 size 8 seed beads, one crimp tube, 4 size 8s, one size 5, 2 size 8s, one handmade leaf, 2 size 8s, one size 5, and 4 size 8s. Pass back through the crimp bead and crimp tightly.

4. Adjust the lariat so that there is good tension without excess wire appearing between beads. Cut the wire from the spool leaving 4" of excess. String one crimp tube, 4 size 8s, one size 5, 2 size 8s, one handmade leaf, 2 size 8s, one size 5, and 4 size 8s. Pass back through the crimp bead and crimp tightly.

Green Fairy Lariat

Materials:

Size 8 seed beads
4mm sterling silver laser-cut balls
8mm bicone crystal Swarovski crystals in peridot
8mm round Swarovski crystals in peridot AB
11 x 5.5mm teardrop Swarovski crystals in crystal AB
18 x 13 mm Jade chunks
15mm dichroic handmade beads
25mm handmade beads
25mm handmade donut beads
(3) 10" pieces of beading wire
(1) 24" piece of beading wire
2mm sterling silver crimp tubes

1. String one crimp tube and one teardrop bead onto a 10 inch piece of wire. Pass back through the crimp tube and crimp tightly. On the other end of the wire, *string one 4mm ball, one crystal bicone crystal, one 4mm ball, one Jade chunk, one 4mm ball, one dichroic bead, one 4mm ball, and one Jade chunk. Repeat from * once. String one 4mm ball, one crimp tube, 8 size 8? seed bead, one handmade donut, and 8 seed beads. Pass back through the crimp bead and crimp tightly.

2. Repeat step one with a second 10 inch piece of beading wire.

3. String one crimp bead and seven size 8 seed beads on the third 10 piece of beading wire. Pass the wire through the eighth seed bead, donut, and ninth seed beads of step one. String seven seed beads and pass back through the crimp tube. Crimp tightly.

4. On the other end of the wire, string one 4mm ball, one Jade chunk, one 4mm ball, one dichroic bead, one 4mm ball, one Jade chunk, one 4mm ball, one bicone crystal, one 4mm ball, one Jade chunk, one 4mm, one dichroic bead, one 4mm ball, one Jade chunk, one 4mm ball, one crimp tube, 8 size 8 seed beads, one handmade donut, and 8 seed beads. Pass back through the crimp tube and crimp tightly.

5. Repeat step 3 using the 24-inch piece of wire and the donut strung in step 4.

6. On the other end of the long wire, string one 4mm ball, one Jade chunk, one 4mm ball, one bicone crystal, one 4mm ball, one Jade chunk, one 4mm ball, and one 8mm round crystal. Repeat 5 times. String one 4mm ball, one Jade chunk, one 4mm ball, one bicone crystal, one 4mm ball, one crimp tube, and seven seed beads. Pass through the eighth seed bead, donut, and ninth seed bead strung in step 2. String seven seed beads. Pass back through the crimp tube and crimp tightly.
