Tip: For best results, take a moment to review all instructions on the product packaging before beginning this project. PermEnamel, the only air-dry paint that does not require heat setting, is a polyester-based product and does not mix with water.Making the Earrings
1. Clean the crystals with soap and water, rinse thoroughly and let dry.
2. Attach a jump ring to each crystal to be painted, then thread the jump rings onto a skewer.
3. Use a soft-bristle brush to apply a generous wash of Surface Conditioner to the crystals. Suspend the skewer over a paper cup or vase and let dry approximately four hours.
4. Snip the tips of the bottles of paint. Squeeze Crystal/Pink over the top of the crystals until it completely coats each and runs off.
5. Apply Pearl/Blue over the crystals, letting excess drip into the cup or vase. Apply more paint as needed, and pop any paint bubbles with a pin.
6. Allow the paint to dry for 48 hours.
7. PermEnamel is permanent after curing for 10 days. Allow the crystals to cure completely, then assemble as desired, adding earring findings or using with other materials to create bracelets and necklaces.
