    Materials:

    Piece of black suede trim 9" x 2"
    3/16" square eyelets
    18" ball chain
    Black fabric backing
    Silver snap
    Black thread
    White chalk pencil
    Hole punch
    Eyelet setter
    Hammer
    Wire cutters
    Needle
    Sewing machine

    1. Use white chalk to mark 3/8" in from each long side as many holes as you need to feed the ball chain. Add 1-1/2" to the size of your wrist for the total length of the suede.

    2. Punch holes. Install square eyelets, with square side on front.

    3. Feed the chain in and out through the holes; the chain needs to be on the wrong side to start and finish.

    4. With black thread and a needle, sew down each end of the chain on the underside.

    5. Cut a piece of backing fabric the same size as the front piece. Sew around all four sides on the right side, as near to the edge as possible.

    6. Set a silver leather snap at the center of each end.
