    Figure B

    1. Tie a single knot of 28g wire around crochet hook. Chain stitch 28 stitches (figure C).

    2. Reverse direction and crochet for eight rows (figure B). Knot the end, leaving a foot of wire. Hammer flat with mallet.

    3. Bend a loop in one end of 15g wire with round nose pliers. Measuring against the crocheted body, make a loop in the center, the one for the other end. Cut wire. Repeat for the other side.

    4. For the hook, bend a loop in one end of wire. Leave one inch and cut wire. File end. Place round nose pliers 3/4 to the end and bend back over itself. Insert pliers into end of hook to bend tip up for easier insertion.

    5. To attach first clasp piece: twist wire loop for 1/8 inch and cut. Use chain nose pliers to bend end over, and weave into side of body. Take long wire and sew clasp piece onto body. Knot end and weave into body.

    6. For second clasp piece: Cut a foot of 28g wire. Tie a single knot to one end of body. Sew clasp on. Knot end and weave into body.

    7. To attach hook, bend loop open with chain nose pliers, insert into loop on one side of clasp. Close loop.

    8. To attach charms: Insert one end of 24g wire into charm loop about two inches long. Bend wire and twist together twice. Cut wire at twist. Use chain nose pliers to bend an angle in wire. Use round nose pliers to bend a loop. Insert into crocheted cuff. Holding with chain nose pliers, bend wire around twisted part. Cut the wire, and tuck in end.

    9. Repeat so that there are three rows of five disks.
