Materials:8-1/2" x 11" cardstock 6' of 16-gauge wire 4' of 20-gauge wire 6-10 beads with holes to accommodate 20-gauge wire Really Big Jig Wire flush cutter Round nose pliers Chain nose pliers Fabric tape measure Bench blocks Hammer
1. Sketch a necklace design of your choice (figure A).2. Place sketched pattern on jig, trace with a pencil, poking holes as you go, placing pegs into the jig (figure B).
3. Loop a tape measure around the pegs to measure how much wire your necklace will require (figure C). Cut the wire 6" longer than you need for your necklace to have something to hold at the end.4. Place spacers on larger curves. 5. Bend wire around your jig (figure D) until you have finished the entire pattern. Remove wire from jig to harden the metal and texturize with a hammer. 6. Wire the dangles and add to necklace.
