In Brazil, these types of bracelets are called accessories, not jewelry. Jewelry in Brazil encompasses the more expensive metals and gemstones, such as diamonds and 18-karat gold.

The finished Brazilian bracelet.
Measure out 34 inches of leather cord.
Put ends together and tie a knot with looped end with hole big enough to fit your little finger through.
Starting from the looped end, tie the fishing line around the cord with 2 knots. Give yourself about 2 feet of fishing line to work with.
Begin threading the extra line through the hole in the stone. Thread only one stone then wrap the line around the leather cord.
Continue this process until all 21 stones are tied.
Tie 2 additional knots to finish.
Tie the 2 strings of leather together to close them and another sing knot at each end.
Make sure to tie the stones very tightly together.
