    1. Cut wire cord to determined size for necklace strap.

    2. Lay out the beads in a pleasing design, with perhaps a special bead in the center. Place seed beads on either side of the "fancy" special beads.

    3. Attach a hook clasp at one end with a crimp tube and leave about 2" of wire tail.

    4. Begin stringing the beads on the strand. Include the tail to reinforce the strand.

    5. Attach a second hook clasp at the other end with a crimp bead and run the tail through approximately 2" of beads. Cut off the excess tail.

    6. Sew the eyes that match the hook clasps into either side of the purse and hook on the necklace. Or hook the 2 hooks onto each other for a necklace.

    7. To create the fringed ribbon purse, first cut body strips and binding strip from white silk.

    8. Cut lining pieces from pink silk.

    9. Cut ribbon-fringe strips, body strips and purse bottom from interfacing.

    10. Set a doll-hair maker with a 2-1/2" space between parallel bars. Tape one end of ribbon to one bar end.

    11. Wrap the ribbon snugly around the bar, twisting the ribbon two times for each wrap, for 7" and tape the end.

    12. Sew a 3/8" wide interfacing strip near the top: 1-3/4" from the lower parallel bar.

    13. Repeat ten times. Each fringed row will use 2 pieces of fringed ribbon.

    14. Sew the fringe pieces onto the body strips, masking the interfacing strip on the ribbon.

    15. Mask the seams with hand-sewn rows of sequins.

    16. Join the elements of the purse together and bind at the top.
