  • Party Favor Earrings
  • From "Jewelry Making"
    episode DJMK-206

    PHOTO

Party favors provide endless earring options!
Host Jackie Guerra shares some ideas for celebrating the seasons -- and everyday events -- with whimsical earrings made from party favors.

    Party favors
    Jump rings
    Earring findings
    Ribbon
    Scissors
    Wire nippers
    Flat nose pliers

    1. Look at party favors with a new eye to what can become earring: key rings, children’s erasers, holiday ornaments, kids’ craft supplies, buttons. Let your imagination run wild!

    2. Prepare items as needed: remove key rings but leave a loop in the charm, drill holes in erasers, punch holes in foam shapes. Add jump rings as needed and affix to earring findings.
