  • Suede Cuff
  • From "Jewelry Making"
    episode DJMK-205

    PHOTO

This same design can be created with leather instead of suede.
Jackie Guerra creates a suede cuff that's tough enough for the man in your life.

    Materials:

    Leather/suede long rectangle.
    Two 8" leather strings
    2 tube beads
    6 eye grommets
    Pencil
    Leather punch

    1. Take Suede strip and measure the half waypoint. Mark this point with a pencil.
Fold the cuff in half and punch three even spaced holes about1/2 inch from the ends.

    2. Lay the cuff flat again, position eye grommets and punch them securely into place at each end of the cuff.

    3. Place the beads where you marked the center of the cuff and sew into place with a leather needle and industrial strength thread!

    4. Feed your ties through the grommets and secure.
