    A stained glass jewelry box that's as pretty as a posie!
    Host Jackie Guerra creates a jewelry box with a faux stained glass lid.

    Materials:

    Wooden box
    Acrylic paint
    Delta iridescent paint
    Liquid leading paint
    Cording
    Paint brushes
    Glue

    1. Lightly sand the box and wipe it for a clean surface.

    2. Paint the box (except the area where the stained glass will go) in colors you like, and techniques (such as sponging) that you like.

    3. Sketch your design to scale and place it under the glass.

    4. Use leading paint to paint the design's leading and allow to dry.

    5. Paint the rest of the design in colors you have chosen. Allow design to dry.

    6. Glue the glass into position on top of the box (or the front of a "stand-up" box).

    7. Carefully glue the cord around the perimeter of the glass and add any finishing touches.
