Twist the cord and glue the button into the twist (figure A) to secure.
When using a button with a shank to make a choker, use a small piece of wire to assist in pulling the wide trim through the shank . Fold the wire in half and put the folded end through the shank (figure B). Thread the ribbon through the wire loop and pull the wire back through the shank.
