    PHOTO

This technique can be adapted to create a unique look. The version on the right (background) was created using leather and wooden beads for a more masculine look; the more delicate version to the left (foreground) was created with analon wire and delicate seed and faceted beads.
Guest artist Bonnie Clewans creates a unisex style beaded choker using a Lark's Head Knot. Here, Clewans shares her technique with host Jackie Guerra.

    Materials:

2' of 1.5mm leather for bracelet; 4' for choker (analon wire can also be used for smaller beads)
Bead with hole to fit 1.5mm leather
Bead with hole to fit 3mm
    1 split ring (6 or 9 mm)
    1 cord crimp
1 hasp or other type of closing

    1. Fold leather in half, then thread loop through split ring (figure A).

    2. Next, pull ends through loop to form Lark’s Head Knot (figure B).

    3. Thread both strands through bead down to split ring (figure C).

    4. Thread one bead on each strand (figure D).

    5. Cross thread the leather strands through 1 bead (figure E).

    6. Repeat steps 2-5 until desired length is achieved. At the end, trim the cords and attach cord crimp with hasp.
