Host Jackie Guerra shares her technique for creating a watch with a wrapped leather band.

Materials:

22" strap of leather with tapered ends
Old watch face with top and bottom band handles/attachments

1. First, tie thin strips of leather to the top watch-face handle. Loop under the center of the leather strap and attach to bottom watch handle. Slip straps through and loop back to the upper handle. Tie securely into place.

2. With the watch face now secured to the strip, wrap around wrist and tie in any fashion desired.

3. Optional embellishments include glue-on rhinestones, metal studs or a leather-stamped motif.
