    Figure B

    Materials:

Softflex (TM) beading wire (a nylon-coated wire)
    Assorted beads
    Crimp beads
Clasp (Magna Loc [TM] clasp recommended)
    Measuring tape
    Wire cutters
    Crimping pliers

    1. Measure the length you want for the bracelet (use your own wrist, for example) and add 2". Use that measurement to cut the wire.

    2. String 2 crimp beads on one side of the clasp. Pass back through the 2 crimp beads (figure A) and press or crimp the beads (figure B).

    3. String the assorted beds in a way that you like -- just be sure that the first few beads cover the beading-wire tail.

    4. Check the desired length again and adjust the beads as necessary. Finish by stringing 2 crimp beads and the other side of the clasp. Pass back through the crimp beads. Pull tight and squeeze the crimp beads. Tuck the tail into as many beads as possible and trim the end.

Products: All supplies are available at bead stores. For magnetic clasps, see Resources, below.
