Mary Lyon, host of DIY's Crafts, shows how to make jewelry using workable embossing enamels and rubber stamps. Materials:
Workable embossing enamels (this segment used Suze Weinberg's Boxed Bunch Ultra-Thick Embossing Enamels) Rubber stamps Cardboard shapes Heating tool Jewelry findings - Paint the cardboard shapes with the embossing ink in your choice of base color.
- Sprinkle embossing powder over the base coat.
- Heat the embossing powder with the heating tool until smooth. You can then add other colors as desired and reheat to blend.
- While the surface is still pliable, apply the rubber stamp to create a textured design.
- When the surface has set, attach jewelry findings.
