Experience Level: BeginnerMaterials: 6 3/4" flat washers 7 1/2" silver jump rings 1 1/4" silver jump ring 6 silver bola tie slides 6 small pictures 1 lobster clasp paper tacky glue industrial strength craft glue Scissors tracing paper pencil needle nose pliers
1. Lay a washer on top of tracing paper (figure A), and then outline the shape using a pencil.2. Cut out the shape with scissors. This will be the picture template. 3. Lay the template on top of the pictures that you'll be using so you'll be able to center your image. 4. Draw an outline around the template, and then cut out the picture. 5. Repeat the steps above for the remaining pictures. 6. Apply a small dab of white glue on one flat side of the washer. Rub the glue around to ensure the entire surface is covered. 7. Clean the glue off your fingers, and then place the picture on top of the glue. Press it firmly to smooth out any bubbles. Repeat for the remaining washers. Allow it to dry. 8. Add a dab of industrial strength craft glue to the back of one of the bola tie slides, and then place it on the back of one of the washers so the slide is horizontal. Ensure your picture is right-side-up and in line with the slide. 9. Set the washer face down to dry. Repeat this process for the remaining washers. Allow time to dry for several hours.
10. Using needle nose pliers, connect the washers one-by-one by inserting a jump ring on each loop of the bola tie slide (figure B). Use your fingertips to press the loop down firmly so the jump ring can't come out.11. Continue until all of the jump rings are fastened. 12. Attach the 1/4 inch jump rings to one end of the bracelet, and then attach a lobster clasp (figure C).
