    Witch Crafts hosts Cathie Filian and Steve Piacenza create three fun alternative ways to package your Halloween candy and cookies — a spider cookie box, candy tins and pompon creatures.

    Materials:

    Chinese take-out box
    black pipe cleaners
    favor tins
    Halloween themed ribbon
    Halloween themed stickers
    Fabric-Tac glue
    pompons
    google eyes
    large heart-shaped punch
    card stock

    1. To make the spider cookie box: Wind one pipe cleaner around the metal handle of the take-out box. Cut another black pipe cleaner into four pieces to be the spider's legs. Wind another black pipe cleaner around the legs and the handle to make the spider's body and secure it to the box handle (figure A).

    2. To make candy tins: Attach Halloween ribbon to the rim of the favor tin lids. Add stickers to the tops and fill with candy (figure B).

    3. To make pompon creatures: punch a heart shape from card stock to be the creature's feet. Glue a pompon body to the feet. Add google eyes and other pompons to add features (figure C).
