5/8" wide bright pink satin ribbon
1/2" heart-shaped punch
craft knife
ruler
scoring tool
pencil
double-stick adhesive sheet or at least 1/2" wide tape
rubber cement
clear glass microbeads
Impress Rubber Stamps "Happy Valentines Day" and "Your friendship warms my heart" stamps
ink pads: red, white
size A-2 envelope: red or pink
Steps:1. Cut red card stock to 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", score and fold for a size A-2 card.
2. Cut pink card stock to 5-1/4" x 4". Turn to wrong side.
3. Lightly pencil a horizontal line 2 inches from the top of pink card stock. Make a second line 1/2 inch below the first.
4. Use ruler to center and evenly distribute six vertical slits with the craft knife (figure A). The top of each slit should be even with the top pencil line and the bottom even with the lower pencil line.
5. Weave satin ribbon through slits (figure B). Secure with rubber cement and cut at the edge of the paper on each side.
6. Lay a 1" x 2" piece of double-stick adhesive sheet on a scrap of red card stock. Cut through both layers with the heart-shaped punch to make three heart.
7. Peel off the protective sheet left on the adhesive and dip each heart into the jar of glass beads to coat (figure C).
8. Use rubber cement to attach the hearts between the ribbon slits on the pink card stock.
9. Stamp "Happy Valentines Day" in red ink below ribbon.
10. Center pink card stock over front of red card and attach with spray adhesive.
11. Stamp "Your friendship warms my heart" with white ink inside card.
