Tie a knot in one end of the 16" cord. Tie another knot at approximately 8". Tie a third knot between the first two. (The knots should end up together).
Pull tight and take a few stitches to stabilize. Cut away the excess cord. Dot with Fray Check®.
Form a knot at the other end of the 16" cord.
Sew the button onto the knot. Take a few stitches to stabilize the knot, cut the excess cord and dot with Fray Check®
Use some beads to decorate the holes on one side of the button and to decorate the knot on the other side.
This is where you will adjust for your wrist size.
On the other end of the cord measure down about 4" and fold the cord over.
Then, make a knot to form a loop about ¾" long.
Try on and adjust knot as needed.
Make a few stitches to stabilize the knot. Cut the excess cord and Fray Check®.
Using a mixture of large decorative beads and smaller seed beads attach beads to the knot where the loop is and to the knot that will go into the loop. This is the closure.
Add beads in a cluster to the center of the cord.
Add a cluster of beads to each side of the center.
