Host Dena Fishbein takes vintage napkins and creates wonderful sachet pillows for your home.
Materials:
1 bag buckwheat hulls 1 bag dried lavender 1 vintage napkin 2 coordinating buttons in 2 sizes Trim to match Fabri-Tac Needle and thread Sewing machine Measuring cup Funnel

Fold one side of the napkin over about one third of the way with the right side out. The remaining fabric will then become the top "flap" of the envelope (figure A).
Sew the folded area together leaving a 3-inch opening on one end.
Mix two parts buckwheat hulls to one part dried lavender in large bowl and set aside.
Fill the pillow with the buckwheat hull and dried lavender mixture by pouring it through the funnel with the measuring cup (figure B).
Stitch the pillow closed on the sewing machine.
Glue the trim onto top flap's edge with Fabri-Tac leaving about an inch on each end so that you can tuck it under. Let the glue dry before you add the button.
Placing the smaller button on top of the larger button, stitch both onto the center of flap over trim.
If desired, tack the corner flaps down.
If you have napkins that have a fringe, you can sew the napkins together, tie a ribbon around the pillow and tuck a sprig of flowers in the center (figure C).
