    Figure B

    Materials (figure A):

    Old books
    Color copier
    Scissors
    Thin sheets of Styrofoam
    Glue gun

    1. Stack sheets of Styrofoam until they're about the same height as the book when it's lying down.

    2. Glue the sheets together.

    3. Make color copies of all sides of book and cut them out. Cut the cover all the way out, but leave some excess paper around the edges of the sides of the book. The excess will fold down over the Styrofoam, ensuring that all of it is covered.

    4. Start with the copied sides and glue them down onto the Styrofoam (figure B).

    5. Glue the cover down over the Styrofoam.

Products: Styrofoam can be found at craft stores, and old books can be found for bargain prices at stores that sell used books.
