  • Design a Dream Doll
  • From "Crafty Kids"
    episode DCK-105
    advertisement

Donna Sanders with the Gotz doll company gives several good tips and ideas when trying to design a dream doll.

    • Begin by drawing the design on paper. This will let you change your ideas without using your materials.

    • Think of your favorite outfits -- shorts, pants, dresses, etc.

    • Pick out colors that go together or combinations of plaids and solids.

    • Try using multiple patterns for the clothes.

    • Be creative. Since this is a doll that you're designing, make the clothes reflect the things you like.
