Materials:1/4 yard courduroy fabric 1/4 yard light weight fabric fastener d-rings
1. Cut two pieces of the corduroy fabric to 4-1/2" x 5-3/4" (A & B).2. Cut two additional pieces to 10" x 2-3/4" to create the strap (C & D). 3. Cut two pieces of light weight fabric to 4-1/2" x 5-3/4" (E & F). 4. Cut a piece of ribbon two inches long, and then attach the D-rings. 5. Sew the D-rings attached ribbon onto one of the short ends of piece C at a 5/8 inch seam allowance. 6. Pin piece C and D right sides together, with the D-rings tucked inside.
7. Sew around three sides including the D-ring side at a 5/8 inch seam allowance (figure A).8. Turn the strap right side out exposing the D-rings. 9. Fold in the open seam, and then hand stitch or topstitch it closed. 10. With the right sides facing each other, pin the strap centered to one of the short sides of piece A--matching the raw edges. 11. Stitch 3/4 inches two inches down from the edge to create belt loops (figure B). 12. Stitch six inches of ribbon to the raw edge. 13. With the right sides together, pin pieces A and B, and then stitch around three sides. 14. Keeping the right sides together, pin pieces E and F. 15. Sew E and F together at a 5/8 inch seam allowance leaving a two inch opening to create a lining.
16. Tuck the lining inside the outer casing (right sides together), and then stitch around the edge.17. Use the hole in the lining to turn the right side out (figure C). 18. Top stitch the hole closed.
