    E6000 Glue
    2 sheets of felt
    charms

    Fancy Schmancy Headbands

    1. Cut a piece of cotton fabric or felt in half large enough to go around the headband.

    2. Place glue along the headband and center fabric with the headband with the seam of the fabric on the underside.

    3. Wrap fabric around the plastic headband and tack down fabric ends with glue.

    4. Trim the fabric to fit to help when wrapping and gluing felt around on the underside edges of headband. You can cut slits on the ends pieces to help them wrap around the ends (figure A).

    5. Put clothespins around the headband to help hold the material in place until the glue dries (figure B).

    6. On the inside of the headband glue down ribbon to hide where the felt meets and let dry.

    7. If you have to use two pieces of materials, you can use bias tape to hide the seam. Then, cut out a felt flower and glue to the center of the tape (figure C).

Tip: You can have some fun and use cupcake toppers as charms to glue on top of your headband.
