 Crayon-Transferred T-Shirt
Tools:50/50 poly/cotton T-shirt (washed and ironed) white paper iron-transfer crayons iron
1. Draw an image that you want to transfer onto white paper (figure A). If you want to transfer words, make sure you write them backward (mirror image) so they will transfer properly. Make sure your drawn image is free of crayon speckles or flecks, which would create dots on the T-shirt.2. Set the iron temperature per the crayon manufacturer's instructions. Place the drawn image (crayon side down) on the T-shirt and iron. Hold and press the iron for 15 seconds in each section of the image (figure B). You will know when an area is transferred because it will begin to show through on the paper.
3. Wash according to the crayon manufacturer's instructions.
