Glamorous Evening Shoes From "Embellish This!" episode DEMB-202

Host Dena Fishbein takes a plain pair of shoes and makes them glamorous.

Materials:

1 pair of black high heels
1 strand of rhinestones
Large rhinestone
Embroidered trim
Fabri-Tac
Gem-Tac
Scissors
Glossy Wood Tone (optional)

1. Take trim and measure across the toe of the shoe (leaving a little extra) and cut. Fold the edge of the trim under and glue it down (figure A).

   Tip: Instead of spending a fortune on glamorous shoes, you can embellish plain shoes. Buy shoes in the off-season to save money.

2. Run a bead of Fabri-Tac along the edge of the trim you glued onto the shoe. Place the rhinestone trim on the glue and hold down for a few seconds and then trim with your scissors (figure B).

   Tip: You can purchase rhinestone trim from a fabric store, etc. For a more vintage look, you can use Glossy Wood Tone and spray it.

3. Glue a large rhinestone on center of trim with Gem-Tac.
