    1. You can purchase comfortable, inexpensive shoes at a discount store, embellish them, and make them beautiful.

    2. Using a sharp x-acto knife, cut the straps off of the shoes. Be careful using the knife so you don't cut your fingers!

    3. Mix acrylic paint and Gac 900 fabric medium together as the manufacturer specifies.

    4. Using a small paintbrush, apply black mixture to the round eraser on the pencil and stamp polka dots randomly all over the shoes spacing the dots evenly (figure A). You don't want to dip the eraser right into the paint because you might get a big blob. Using a small paintbrush, fill in black dots as necessary.

    5. Using Fabri-tac, apply a thin black trim around the shoe where the straps had been (figure B). Check it carefully to make sure it is glued down and all the areas where the straps had been are hidden.

Note: Use a bottle with a small tip to get a fine line of fabric adhesive.

    6. Using Fabri-tac, apply a flower to the center of the bow. Then, glue a vintage rhinestone to center of the flower (figure C).
