    Framed Found Objects

    Framed Found Objects
    Materials:

    framed newspaper or magazine ads, children’s book pages, wrapping paper, album covers, etc.
    picture frames
    sardine cans
    glue stick
    small found objects
    heavy-duty glue, such as E6000
    awl
    scrap ribbon and/or rattail cording

    1. Arrange the pictures (attach layered images with a glue stick) (figure A).

    2. For a three-dimensional frame, empty a sardine can, paint inside and outside and layer small found objects in the can (figure B).

    3. Using an awl, punch a hole in the top of the can (figure C). Thread both ends of a piece of ribbon or rattail cording through to the inside of the can and knot ends.

    4. Glue ribbon/cording to secure in place.
