Materials:old pair of eyeglasses with glass lenses (not bifocals) small piece of scrapbook paper or wrapping paper, trimmed to the size of the eyeglass lens color-copied images smaller than eyeglass lens (usually about 1"x1-1/2") glue stick scissors découpage medium pin back craft paint in your color of choice E6000 glue decorative trim tacky glue scissors 1. Remove lenses from eyeglasses (figure A).
2. Trim around the image(s); use a glue stick to adhere it to scrapbook or wrapping paper (figure B) (figure C).
3. Use a paintbrush to paint découpage medium to the front of the layered image. Place the image, face side up, to the back of the eyeglass lens (figure D). Use a finger to press out any air bubbles. Let medium dry, per manufacturer's instructions; when dry, the medium will appear clear.4. Paint several coats of craft paint on the back of the image and glass. Let each coat of paint dry before applying the next coat, and don't forget to carefully paint the edge of the lens (figure E). When finished, paint should be opaque in appearance.
5. Cut decorative trim to fit around the edge of the lens and attach with tacky glue (figure F). 6. Use E6000 glue to attach pin back and let dry (figure G).
