    Travel Shadow Boxes
    Tools:

    shadow box
map of the United States (or other vacation spot)
memorabilia from the trip, including stamps, photos, guidebooks and trinkets
    paper glue
    hot glue
    foam mounting squares
    scissors
    ruler

    1. Trim the map section to fit the backboard of the shadow box and glue in place with paper glue.

    2. Use foam squares to mount photos, stickers and stamps to create a 3-D effect. You can trim around the photos to highlight specific landmarks, scenery, etc. (figure A).

    3. Hot-glue trinkets in the box as desired (figure B). Be sure that you are not gluing anything in the area where you will need to reattach the frame.
