    2 small red buttons = cherries
    6 small purple buttons = bunch of grapes
    1 med. orange button = orange
    2 small yellow buttons = lemons.
    Fruity Table Linens

    Materials:

    random buttons
    green embroidery floss
    embroidery needles
    small embroidery hoop
    scissors
    linen napkins

    1. Attach the fabric to the embroidery hoop.

    2. Separate the embroidery floss, halving the strands. Thread a needle with 3 strands of floss and, working at the corner of the napkin, stitch the buttons in place (figure A).

    3. Use a simple running stitch to create stems and a satin stitch to create leaves (figure B) ( figure C).
