Floral Bundle CardsMaterials: card blanks cardstock fun buttons small needle embroidery floss scissors paper glue embellishment glue pencil 1. Trim the cardstock to slightly smaller than the blank card (figure A). 2. Determine the card design and place buttons, as needed, on the design. Use a pencil to lightly pencil in the stems of the button flowers.
3. Separate the embroidery floss in half and thread the needle with 3 strands. Make a very small knot at the end of the floss and begin stitching, from the back, to the front of the paper (figure B). Stitch over pencil lines with a running stitch. Add leaves, using a satin stitch, if desired, (figure C).
4. Using tacky glue, add ribbon at the top and bottom of the card (figure D). 5. Center stitched paper over the blank card and glue in place. 6. Glue buttons in place; for a more secure placement, quick-stitch buttons to the card (figure E).
