Get one of today's most popular looks for home decor -- a beaded frame -- with just a little glue, a plain frame and richly colored seed beads. It's a great way to highlight a special photograph!

    Figure A

Beading often takes years to master, but as host Debbie Stapley demonstrates, you can get the same look quickly and inexpensively.

    White craft glue
    Wooden picture frames
    Jewel-toned seed beads
    Small foam brush
    Shallow casserole dish

    1. Use foam craft brush to apply glue to a section of frame surface. Place frame in a shallow dish (figure A), pressing the frame into the beads (or simply sprinkle the beads over the chosen area). Allow the frame to dry about 20 minutes.

    2. Move to another section and repeat the technique using a different shade of beads. Continue until entire surface of the frame is filled.
