Collector Desi Scarpone has played most of the 2,000 board games in his collection. Nostalgia led him to collecting the games, which to him represent the fun of childhood as well as a simpler time. Scarpone often trades to get a better copy of a game he already owns. There are certain characteristics he looks for when trading and buying board games: - Graphics must be eye-catching.
- Each set must be complete, with all pieces in good condition and instructions intact.
- All games must be in good condition (some in his collection are still in the original shrink-wrap).
