Joel Perlin's interest in erector sets keeps him busy. He writes articles on the hobby, has founded a club and has even served as a consultant to Hollywood filmmakers ! Perling received his first erector set in 1955. His nostalgia for the hobby led him to introduce it to his son. When his son expressed no interest, Perlin found that his own interest only grew. He spends two or three hours a day building and adding to his collection.
