    Figure A

    Materials:

    Silk flowers
    Wire cutters
    Glue gun
    Flip-flops

    1. Clip a flower off its stem. Because the stem is no longer holding it together, now all the different layers of the flower will need to be glued together.

    2. Gently pull the first layer apart from the second layer.

    3. Stick the end of the glue gun into the space you've just made and squeeze a small amount of glue inside.

    4. Press the flower back together (figure A).

    5. Repeat this process for all the other layers.

    6. Put an ample amount of glue on the back of the flower and press it firmly onto the flip-flop thong.

    7. Repeat this process for the other flip-flop.

Products: Inexpensive flip-flops can be purchased at drugstores such as Rite Aid. The other materials for this craft can be purchased at craft stores.
