Materials (figure A): Flip-flops
Large beads
Nylon or knitting thread
Tapestry needle - Thread needle with a good length of thread and tie at one end with a double knot
- Push the needle up through the end of one of the flip-flop straps.
- Load all the beads for the strap onto the thread. Push the needle back down through the strap. Pull all the way through, taking up the slack.
- Tie a tight double knot in thread.
- Repeat this process for the other straps.
Products: Drugstores carry inexpensive flip-flops.
