Chris Wallace, formerly of Duncan Enterprises, dresses up sneakers with glitter and paint. Materials:
White canvas sneakers
Glitter fabric paint
1/4" masking tape
Paintbrush
Bottled dimensional paint with applicator - Wash and dry canvas sneakers.
- Tape off geometric shapes on the toe of each shoe with 1/4"-wide masking tape. It's more fun when each shoe is designed to be different (figure A).
- Paint each section a different color (figure B).
- Remove the masking tape (figure C).
- Place dots of dimensional paint down the white lines between the colored sections where the masking tape had been (figure D).
