Chris Wallace, formerly of Duncan Enterprises, dresses up sneakers with glitter and paint.

    Materials:

    White canvas sneakers
    Glitter fabric paint
    1/4" masking tape
    Paintbrush
    Bottled dimensional paint with applicator

    1. Wash and dry canvas sneakers.

    2. Tape off geometric shapes on the toe of each shoe with 1/4"-wide masking tape. It's more fun when each shoe is designed to be different (figure A).

    3. Paint each section a different color (figure B).

    4. Remove the masking tape (figure C).

    5. Place dots of dimensional paint down the white lines between the colored sections where the masking tape had been (figure D).
