Now it's time to sew the two robes together. - Beginning with satin robe with piping and full terry robe, sew from bottom, around collar and down other side.
Expert tip: Stitch on the satin side -- that way, you can simply stitch in the same place where you sewed the piping on. - Turn right side out at left sleeve under seam.
- Put your arm through the sleeve and work both layers out smoothly; pin terry cuff to satin cuff (figure A).
Expert tip: Line up the seam on both sleeves and pin at that point. This will help prevent twists in the sleeve. - Close sleeve with slipstitch.
- Tack underarm, collar and sides (figure B).
