    Mini Fir Trees (figure C)

    Materials:
Circular tomato stakes (one per tree)
Artificial garlands (two 9' garlands per tree)
    Zip ties
    U-shaped metal stakes

    Steps:

    1. Turn a tomato stake upside down (to make a pyramid) and secure the point with zip ties.
    2. Starting at the top, secure the garland to the stake with a zip tie and begin wrapping it around the pyramid to create a dense "tree."
    3. When the first garland runs out, add the second and continue wrapping until the pyramid is covered.
    4. This time, start at the bottom and secure the garland to the wire form, filling in any empty spots, until you reach the top.
    5. Add strings of lights (figure D).
    6. Secure the trees in the ground with metal stakes.

    Materials:
    Circular tomato stakes
    18' rope lights
    Zip ties
    U-shaped metal stakes

    Steps:

    1. Turn a tomato stake upside down (to make a pyramid) and secure the point with zip ties.

    2. Secure a rope light at the top with a zip tie.

    3. Curve the rope light down the stake using the zip ties to secure along the way. If there's any excess rope at the top, run it down into the middle of the "tree" (figure F)
