Steps: 1. Preheat roaster oven to 150 degrees.
2. Place the lazy Susan on the cookie sheet, and then put the pillar candle on top.
3. Warm the wax in the pots.
4. Once the wax is melted add dye colors and stir.
5. Add a tablespoon of desired scent. Let it cook for approximately five minutes.
6. Use green tapers for leaves.
7. Ladle melted wax over the green tapered candles several times until there is a "band" of new color on the taper candle (figure A).
8. Place your taper candles into the roaster oven. (Turn down to 75 degrees). The tapered candles should be warm but not melting.
9. Keep the tapers warm and bendable in the roaster oven until ready to use.
10. Slice your tapers candles like a carrot (figure B) and place on a hot plate. Again, keeping the wax warm but not melting.
11. Sculpt and adhere the leaves. Shape the wax circle into a leaf shape with your hands. Place the leaves all along the top of the candle. Use the blowtorch as glue by allowing the flames to hit the candle where you would like to place the wax leaves.
12. Once the torch is on, give it another blast along the seam with the torch to make sure the leaves adhered properly.
13. Torch the leaves on the "body" of the candle in a set of three leaves (figure C).
14. Use any color you want for the flower petals and center of the flowers. Repeat above steps for the flower petals. A red taper candle was ladled with yellow wax (figure D). Shape and bend the flower petals as desired with your hands (figure E)
15. Next, torch the wax petals on the candle in between the leaves.
16. Lastly, add the center color of the flower and torch it into place (figure F). Repeat on the back side of the candle.
Clean wax that has dripped on the candle by turning the candle sideways and use the blowtorch to allow the wax to drip to the bottom of the flower candle. Use caution when working with a blowtorch.
