candy wrappers (candy straws - paper sticks filled with powdered candy - Pixy Stix)
    white glue
    copper wire

    Figure A
    3. Fold the ends back into the fold on both sides, but not all the way to the middle (figure A).

    4. Using a paper clip, make sure the folds are tight and crisp.

    5. Repeat this step for several of the candy wrappers until you have many candy wrapper "links".

    6. Attach the candy wrappers to one another by pushing one through the middle of the other, then adjusting it until it is in place.

    7. Repeat the previous step, but add the wrapper links to the chain in alternating directions. Repeat this step until there are about seven links on the chain for your napkin ring.

    8. Attach the two ends of the wrapper chain to each other with white glue. Use a clothespin to clamp the links together until the glue is set.

    Wire Place Card Holder

    1. Hold the wire tight with pliers and curl a piece of copper wire in a spiral pattern.

    2. Insert the wire into the wrappers. The spiral curlicue can be used to hold nametags.

Make several candy wrapper napkin rings for your friends and family.
