Materials (figure A): Toilet-paper tubes Wrapping paper Ribbon Party favors/candy Scotch tape Scissors Craft knife - With a craft knife, cut a zigzag pattern (figure B) almost all the way around the middle of toilet-paper tube. You don't want to cut the tube totally apart. Leave 1/2" or so intact between the two ends.
- Cut a piece of wrapping paper about twice as long as the tube.
- Place the tube in the middle of the wrapping paper. Roll it inside the wrapping paper and tape it.
- You're going to be wrapping your tube like a piece of candy, so take hold of the wrapping paper at one end of the tube and twist it.
- Tie a ribbon around the middle of the twist you just made.
- Now fill tube with goodies from the other end.
- Twist to close this end and then tie ribbon around it.
Tip: - Twist and pull the finished tube to let the fun out!
