    Materials:

    Four bottle caps
    Plastic soda bottle
    Googlie eyes
    Craft knife
    Acrylic paint
    Hot glue
    Scissors
    Pipe cleaners
    Pencils
    Brushes
    Pink felt
    Paint pens
    Change

    1. Paint all the caps pink (figure A) or your chosen color with the paint pens. Let dry.

    2. Decorate the bottle with paint pens or acrylic paint, as you like. Let dry.

    3. Once the caps are dry, hot-glue them to the side of the bottle for legs (figure B). (Glue the side of the cap on for taller legs.)

    4. To make the ears, cut a pair of triangles out of felt or paper. Fold one edge of the triangle up, creating a flap. Cut a slit in the middle of that flap. Bend the ear in, overlap the flaps (figure C) and glue together. This makes the ear 3-D so it will stand up.

    5. Glue on googlie eyes.

    6. Carefully, using the tip of a pair of scissors, poke a small hole in bottom of the bottle for the pipe-cleaner tail. Wrap a pipe cleaner around your finger to curl it (figure D) and glue it in.

    7. With the help of an adult, cut a slot in the top of the bottle for change to feed the piggy.

Tip: Always have an adult supervise when you use hot glue and sharp tools.

All products can be purchased at craft and all-purpose stores nationwide.
